This gig was on an outdoor stage at a micro-brewery. The only down side is I worry so much about that guitar when I gig with it. I never use the boost feature but I often use the single coil feature. I like the red, instead of the browner "vintage sunburst" but not as much red as the heritage cherry, so this looks perfect. Here's a picture of one with the iced tea finish - hope mine looks that good. Neck Pickup: '57 Classic, Bridge:Super '57 The stuff that sounded good to me, besides owning my first brand new Gibson guitar (after owning dozens of Gibsons) was: Brand new Gibson, with what seems to be every feature I would want, including the cosmetics, for $1,499. While checking feature and prices in Musician's Friend, before ordering, I saw they had the Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro IV on sale for $500 off, which is $500 less than Guitar Center and up to $750 less than some other dealers. I recently made some extra money and I was considering buying a stripped Gibson body and neck from Stratosphere, on Ebay, and building one, with locking Grover tuners, coil-tapable pickups, etc., which would have run about $1,100-1,200 for the body and neck alone. Closest I have ever had was a black 70's Les Paul Pro Deluxe, but I didn't care for the P-90's. I've always wanted a bound, standard-type, sunburst Les Paul.
